Norway allocates Moldova a grant of 50 million euros for the purchase of cheaper natural gas, which will reduce gas tariffs.
This was announced by Moldovan President Maia Sandu at a press conference on Monday on the occasion of the last summit of the European Political Community. She noted that Moldova receives specific assistance for overcoming the energy crisis. "On June 1, Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre announced donor support of some 50 million euros to enable us to buy natural gas. Moldova has already started buying cheaper gas, and therefore in the near future we will see a decrease in tariffs for consumers," the Moldovan head of state stressed. // 05.06.2023 – InfoMarket
