Two new residents of Taraclia Free Economic Zone (FEZ) will invest 1 million euros to create a solar panel park and produce solar electricity.

Subvack Group and Infinite Education have received the status of residents of Taraclia FEZ following a tender. They plan to create a solar panel park of about 4.5 hectares on the territory of this Free Economic Zone. The project of the new residents is designed until 2036. Investments will amount to 1 million euros, the number of new jobs - up to 10. Currently, 4 residents operate in Taraclia Free Economic Zone, including a porcelain stoneware factory (occupies 10 hectares of this FEZ), while the remaining residents are engaged in foreign trade activities. Taraclia FEZ owns another 25 hectares of free territory. The administration of Taraclia FEZ emphasizes the need to build an adjacent road along the entire territory of the free zone (2.1 km). This road is strategically important for the current residents, as well as to increase the attractiveness of the industrial park and attract new investors. Taraclia FEZ is one of the smallest Free Economic Zones in Moldova. At the beginning of 2020 investments in this FEZ amounted to $18.8 million, and the number of created jobs - 185. //20.12.2021 — InfoMarket.
