The EU Delegation to Moldova reported this, while clarifying that EU direct investments in Moldova were the most dynamic in recent years, exceeding $3 billion as of the end of 2020. At the same time, many sectors of the national economy were able to take advantage of investments from the European Union: financial activities - 26% of the total EU investments, trade - 23%, processing industry - 22%, information and communications - 9%, energy - 7%, real estate - 6%, construction - 2%, other sectors - 5%.
