Open-Air Cinema by DRÄXLMAIER Returns to Bălți with a Huge Success!

On September 4, 2025, DRÄXLMAIER Group Moldova once again brought the magic of outdoor cinema to the residents of Bălți and guests of the municipality. The event, now in its second edition, took place in the courtyard of Alecu Russo State University in Bălți, starting at 6 p.m., and offered the public a memorable evening under the open sky.

As a partner of the region focused on the harmonious development of the younger generation, as well as a reliable pillar of Alecu Russo State University for more than a decade, DRÄXLMAIER supported the idea of this socio-cultural project on the occasion of the inauguration of the new academic year for the academic community in Bălți.

Although the event took place on the USARB campus, it managed to bring together the student community, teaching staff, DRÄXLMAIER employees, and numerous film lovers from the city and its suburbs.
Participants enjoyed an authentic cultural experience with the screening of the film "Moldovan Stories"—a collection of five humorous stories that reflected a surprising Moldova, full of color, spirit, and humor.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the university courtyard was transformed into a meeting place for different generations, where the film became the perfect excuse for dialogue, smiles, and reflection on Moldovan identity.
The evening ended on a festive note, with a raffle organized by DRÄXLMAIER and the distribution of branded items from USARB.

“Through the Open-Air Cinema event, we would like to express our appreciation to the city that hosts us. It is our way of contributing to the enrichment of its social and cultural landscape,” said Guido Meinelt, Director of DRÄXLMAIER Group Moldova.

The open-air cinema project is part of a series of social, cultural, educational, youth, and sports initiatives through which the German company reaffirms its position as a partner of the region and its deep commitment to community development and the promotion of local cultural values.
