In Moldova, all specialists who work in the field of industrial safety will be certified.

The government approved the regulations on the certification of specialists in this field and the methodology for calculating tariffs for these services. In particular, specialists from 4 areas are subject to certification: design, construction, reconstruction, repair of potentially hazardous industrial facilities; operation and use of industrial facilities and technical installations; production, installation, commissioning of technical installations and systems used in public utility systems; maintenance and repair of installations that are used in the above areas. In total, it's about 278 areas of employment: engineers, machinists, installers, mechanics, workers, heads of processing enterprises, production managers, heads of departments at industrial enterprises, etc. Such certification will be carried out once a year for personnel with up to 3 years of work experience and once every 2 years - if the employee’s experience is higher. A special commission will conduct the certification. Specialists must pass the test by presenting a pre-approved package of documents, and those who pass certification will receive a special certificate. According to the approved methodology, the tariff for certification will be from 105.4 lei per 1 specialist. It can be completed by a group of specialists, but in this case a special coefficient will be applied, and accordingly the tariff will be higher.// 03.07.2024 – InfoMarket.
