According to the published annual financial statements of Cricova JSC, the volume of its sales last year decreased by 18.9% - from 298.58 million to 242.09 million lei, and the cost of sales decreased by 12.1% - from 209.87 million to 184.44 million lei. Commercial expenses decreased by 59.2% - from 23.84 million to 9.72 million lei, while administrative expenses decreased by 2.1% - from 33.68 million to 32.98 million lei. In 2020, Cricova JSC produced 288 thousand decaliters (dal) of bottled still wines and 4 million 900 thousand bottles of sparkling (champagne) wines, including 317 thousand bottles of classic champagne. About 51% of the total sales amounting to 242.09 million lei were sold in Moldova, and the remaining 49% were exported. Investments of Cricova JSC in 2020 amounted to 10.4 million lei, of which 7.6 million lei were for the maintenance and expansion of vineyards, and 2.8 million lei - for equipment for the production process. The authorized capital of Cricova JSC is 182.56 million lei. 100% of the company's shares are owned by the state. The Cricova Wine Factory was founded in 1947.
