This was reported by the financial department, noting that a group of experts from Expertise France, a subsidiary agency of the French Development Agency (AFD), paid an official visit to the Ministry of Finance. During the meeting, the experts discussed with the Minister of Finance Victoria Belous, the State Secretary of the department Alina Certan, as well as with representatives of the Public Procurement Agency and the Customs Service the necessary support for the Moldovan authorities to implement reforms in the field of public procurement, financial control and the customs union in the context of the country's Economic Growth Plan and the integration process into the European Union. During the discussions, the need to develop guidelines and instructions for public procurement, including social, environmental and innovative aspects, as well as support for the development of internal control and audit systems in the public sector were discussed. They also discussed ways to exchange best practices and training for the implementation of the Single Customs Window, the development of e-commerce and the management of mobile customs teams. "The expertise and resources provided by the Expertise France team will be essential for the implementation of structural reforms and the consolidation of a more efficient and sustainable public sector, including in the context of our country's integration into the European Union. We appreciate this support and express our sincere gratitude," said the Minister of Finance. The Expertise France mission will assist in the implementation of reforms in Cluster 1 - Fundamental Values and Cluster 3 - Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth. The Ministry of Finance coordinates Chapters 5 "Public Procurement", 32 "Financial Control" and "Public Financial Management" from Cluster 1, and from Cluster 3 it coordinates Chapters 16 "Taxation", 17 "Economic and Monetary Policy" and 29 "Customs Union".
