The Agency of Land Relations and Cadastre will be reorganized into the Agency of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre.
The relevant draft government decision was examined at the State Chancellery. The agency will have a staff of 49 people, which is 10 more than in the current structure. This will make it possible to strengthen its organizational and institutional capacities. At the same time, the agency will include the public institution "Institute of Geodesy, Engineering Surveys and Cadastre INGEOCAD", which will be reorganized from the state enterprise of the same name from July 1, 2026. A separate public institution "Cadastre of Immovable Property" will be created, which will be in charge of maintaining the real estate cadastre and other information systems and registers, performing cadastral works and real estate valuation, managing the central database of the real estate cadastre, dealing with state registration of real estate and rights to it. The created institution will serve applicants for cadastral services, including at the windows of multifunctional centers of the Public Services Agency. The reorganization of the Agency will have an important role in strengthening the capacity of the institution and in the implementation of the EU INSPIRE directive, by managing spatial data in accordance with European standards. About 1.9 million lei will be allocated from the state budget for the Agency's reorganization. // 06.11.2023 - InfoMarket
