Moldova is granting the possibility to sign up online to submit requests for certificates, copies and extracts from archival documents.

Moldova is granting the possibility to sign up online to submit requests for certificates, copies and extracts from archival documents.

The Ministry of Justice announced this, noting that the National Archives Agency, along with the Ministry of Justice and the e-Governance Agency, launched an information system for online appointment. In particular, individuals and legal entities from Moldova, including those from the Diaspora, as well as foreign citizens can register online to submit requests for certificates, copies and extracts of archival documents. The platform can be accessed from the institution's homepage: www.arhiva.gov.md, section "online registration". The service is free of charge and will be available for entries after October 2, as before that date all entries have already been completed through the old system or by phone. The online enrollment information system was developed to simplify the access of individuals and legal entities to public services provided by the National Archives Agency, as well as to improve the efficiency of the institution.
