The implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy Program in 2023-2026 will be required about 1.2 billion lei.

The document approved by the government establishes medium-term goals and actions that will help strengthen the institutional framework of central and local public administration, the strategic planning system, as well as the development of quality public services in accordance with the needs and expectations of citizens and the business environment. The program consists of 10 chapters, which include an analysis of the situation in the field of public office management and civil servants, the objectives of the strategy, its impact and costs, sources of funding, reporting procedures, etc. For example, it is planned to increase the share of own expenses of the local public administration, ensure the digitization of the activities of the local public administration and consolidate the e-government ecosystem, modernize public services provided to citizens and businesses, introduce a system for planning and monitoring policies, etc. The approximate cost of the program is 1.2 billion lei, which will be allocated both from the state budget and from the resources of development partners. // 07.06.2023 — InfoMarket
