Corresponding amendments to the law on the unified payroll system in the public sector were approved by the parliament in the second reading. In particular, the following categories of workers of the budgetary sphere were raised in class and coefficients of wages: social assistants (with vocational education), foster carers, drivers of the State Chancellery motor pool, auxiliary teaching staff (speech therapists, psychologists, psychopedagogues, etc.), court experts of all categories, heads of forensic laboratories, heads of offices for judicial examination, training of judges, legal aid, guaranteed by the state. Two consecutive pay grades were increased for the positions of "chief accountant" and "head of territorial office" in Chisinau municipality and Balti municipality of the National Council for State Guaranteed Legal Aid. These changes were necessary in order to eliminate some gaps in the application of the new wage system in the public sector. At the same time, the personnel of the public authorities will benefit from an increase of up to 75% of their basic wage for direct involvement in the implementation of priority objectives in the context of the implementation of the European Union accession requirements. The Government will approve the procedure to set this bonus. To implement these measures, 9 million lei is needed from this year's state budget and another 35.9 million lei next year. //30.09.2022 - InfoMarket.
