From November 1, tariffs for 21 public services provided by the Agency of Public Services will decrease.

The corresponding changes to the government decree on the services provided by the State Services Agency, the Cabinet approved at a meeting on Wednesday. Tariffs for 18 services will be reduced, and 3 more services will be provided free of charge. In particular, the tariffs for 10 services in the field of civil status will change: registration of marriage within 25 days, including in penitentiary institutions, will be free (the current tariff is 260 lei); registration of divorce within 25 days will become cheaper from 300 to 210 lei, etc. The fee for 2 services in the field of issuing identification documents will be abolished - declaring the loss or theft of an identity card and updating data in the State Register of Population, which does not require replacing documents (their cost today is 50 and, accordingly, 60 lei). Tariffs for 5 services in the field of vehicle identification and driver documentation will be reduced: vehicle identification during initial registration will cost 400 instead of 600 lei; identification of the engine in the process of state registration will fall in price from 220 to 200 lei; the tariff for issuing a certificate from the State Register of Drivers and the State Register of Transport in 10 days will decrease from 140 to 130 lei; cancellation of the registration certificate or temporary registration certificate will fall in price from 100 to 50 lei. Also, tariffs for 4 services for registration of real estate objects and rights to them will be reduced. The government decree also envisages a change in the term for the provision of some services, correction of technical errors when approving the List of services provided by the Agency of Public Services, clarification of the conditions for the provision of certain benefits, etc. As noted by the director of the State Services Agency Mircea Esanu, the change in tariffs will cost the institution about 25 million lei. These will be covered by recent internal optimization at the agency, as well as higher tariffs for the provision of urgent services. At the same time, he said that the updated portal of public services has been expanded and includes even more services of the Agency of Public Services with the ability to order services online. Herewith, according to Esanu, when ordering services online on the servicii.gov.md portal, their cost will be 20% lower than the base tariff.// 06.10.2021 — InfoMarket
