More than 20 services provided by the Public Services Agency may become cheaper.
The corresponding draft amendments to the government decree on the services provided by the Public Services Agency have been submitted for public consultation. In particular, it is proposed to reduce tariffs for 10 services in the field of civil status. Thus, registration of a marriage 25 days in advance and urgently, in exceptional cases, as well as within the same time frame in penitentiary institutions will be free (instead of the current tariff of 260 lei). Registration of divorce on the basis of a joint application or an application of one of the spouses within 25 days will decrease from 300 to 210 lei, registration of a change of surname and / or first name will cost from 230 to 920 lei, depending on the period, instead of the current tariffs in the amount of 290 to 1160 lei, etc. It is proposed to abolish the fee for two services in the field of issuing identification documents - declaring the loss or theft of an identity card and updating the data in the State Register of Population, which does not require replacing documents (their cost today is 50 and, accordingly, 60 lei). The project also provides for a reduction in tariffs for 5 services in the field of vehicle identification and driver documentation. The tariff for vehicle identification during initial registration in Moldova will decrease from 600 to 400 lei, for engine identification during the state registration process - from 220 to 200 lei, for canceling a registration certificate or temporary registration certificate - from 100 to 50 lei, for issuing a certificate, containing data from the State Register of Drivers and the State Register of Transport within 10 working days - from 140 to 130 lei. In addition, it is proposed to reduce tariffs for 4 services for registration of real estate objects and rights to them.
