The proposed amendments are aimed at achieving the goals set in the government's program of work in the tax and customs sphere, which requires the organization and strategic planning, development and approval of relevant policy documents and close cooperation of the responsible institutions with the government. According to the authors of the initiative, the proposed changes will ensure a unified approach and a unified policy in action, establish a direct dialogue between the government and the heads (directors) of the structural units of the Ministry of Finance - the State Tax Service and the Customs Service.
