Foreign and Moldovan citizens are allowed to enter Moldova if they have a negative PCR test for COVID-19 or a document on the vaccination against coronavirus.
According to the decision of the National Commission for Emergency Situations, at the state border of Moldova, it is necessary to present a negative result of a PCR test for COVID-19, performed no later than 72 hours before landing (for those who travel by public transport) or entering the territory of Moldova (for those who travel by own transport. Test results must have Quick Response Code). Also, the entry of Moldovan and foreign citizens into the territory of Moldova is possible if there is a document on the vaccination against COVID-19, including the second dose, in Romanian, English, French or Russian. Transport operators who have received authorization to carry out passenger flights to Moldova are not entitled to allow persons who do not have the aforementioned documents to board a vehicle. All persons crossing the state border will have their temperature measured. The decision of the commission also stipulates that the Border Police and the Customs Service have the right, by joint orders, to change the work schedule of the checkpoint, depending on the epidemiological situation in the country and in the world, including suspending their work. // 02.04.2021 — InfoMarket
