
Cybersecurity in Moldova and Romania will be strengthened through a cooperation agreement with Amazon Web Services.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of Moldova, together with the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization of Romania, signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with Amazon Web Services (USA). On the basis of this document, the parties will cooperate in order to transfer experience and knowledge in the field of IT, digital solutions, as well as to implement joint projects in the field of digital transformation. With the support of Amazon Web Services, the Moldovan and Romanian governments will be able to leverage the global expertise and digital solutions of AWS, which will support the development of joint Moldovan-Romanian initiatives related to the digital transformation of the two states and increasing the level of cybersecurity. This collaboration will support the authorities' efforts in digital transformation and the use of cloud services, as well as new technologies in the public and private sectors.
