Moldovan companies expand their presence on the German market and increase exports to Germany thanks to the Export Missions Program

This was reported by the Moldovan Investment Agency, noting that with the financial support of the World Bank, it organized a new event within the Export Missions program, aimed at facilitating access of Moldovan products to international markets and strengthening trade relations with partners from Germany. The event, held in Hamburg, was attended by 21 Moldovan companies from key sectors such as fruits, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, which gave them the opportunity to explore new markets and start strategic cooperation. The events were held over 2 days: November 26 - for the fruit sector, and November 28 - to promote Moldovan wines. During the event, more than 165 B2B meetings were held between Moldovan companies and 16 German buyers, aimed at opening new sales channels and identifying future business partnerships. “Export Missions” is one of the initiatives implemented by the Investment Agency to support the development of the export sector in Moldova. The results of the previous editions of the program demonstrate its effectiveness: over the past 4 years, the total volume of generated exports reached 3.3 million euros. These achievements reflect the Investment Agency’s commitment to supporting Moldovan exporters and promoting Moldovan products on international markets. Thanks to such initiatives, Moldova continues to strengthen its position as a reliable partner on world markets, offering quality products and creating new opportunities for the development of international trade. The Export Missions program, implemented by the Investment Agency in partnership with the World Bank Competitiveness Project Implementation Unit (UIPAC), aims to support local businesses in entering international markets, develop strategic partnerships through B2B sessions, and facilitate contracting and export growth.
