According to the National Bureau of Statistics, at the same time, the share of deliveries of domestic goods to Romania in the total volume of Moldovan exports decreased over the specified period from 26.37% to 25.69%. Herewith, the volume of imports from Romania in the first 3 months of 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, increased by 6.8% - to $ 189.4 million, and its share in the total Moldovan imports decreased from 12.99% to 12.21%. As a result, Moldova's negative trade balance with Romania in January-March 2021 amounted to $ 6.3 million against a positive balance of $ 0.7 million a year earlier.
