As InfoMarket agency was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, the export of domestic goods in the first 3 months of 2021 amounted to $ 539.8 million (75.7% of the total), an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the re-export of goods in January-March 2021 amounted to $ 172.9 million (24.3% of the total), which is 12.5% more than in the same period in 2020. Herewith, the re-export of goods after processing (clothes, shoes, shoe parts, armchairs, electrical wiring and cables, other products for the automotive industry, peeled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textiles, toys, etc.) accounted for 15.6% of total exports, and classic re-export of foreign goods (medicines, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueurs, beer, fuel, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, vehicles, furniture, etc.) - 8.7%. According to the NBS, for the export of goods abroad in this period, motor transport was most often used - 88% of the total volume, followed by sea transport - 5.9%, air - 5.1%, rail - 0.9%, as well as postage - 0.1%. In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, decreased by 1.8% - to $ 439.3 million, to the CIS countries - increased by 18.1% - to $ 112 million, and to other countries - increased by 21.6% - to $ 161.4 million.The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports for the specified period decreased from 66.28% to 61.63%, the share of CIS countries increased from 14 .05% to 15.72%, and the share of other countries increased from 19.66% to 22.65%.
