The Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises of Moldova (AIM) has sent the Prime Minister a package of proposals for the development of the SME sector.

According to AIM, the package includes the Reform Program and legislative initiatives. The proposals focus on supporting and developing the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector and reducing bureaucratic pressure on it. The package of proposals was developed during the year on the basis of consultations conducted with 800 entrepreneurs from all regions of the country. In particular, several factors were identified that slow down the normal development of the SME sector: excessive bureaucracy, corruption, etc. The package of proposals promoted by AIM is aimed at improvign and perfectioning the regulatory framework for the business environment, which has a direct impact on SMEs and should be aimed at facilitating and developing the business environment, as well as reducing bureaucratic pressure on it. The set of initiatives includes: anti-corruption and anti-bureaucratic measures; systemic reforms to improve the competitiveness of the sector; support measures and incentives in the context of the aftermath of the pandemic crisis. As a reminder, AIM is a non-governmental business association that includes entrepreneurs from various industries. The main goal of the Alliance is to promote the interests of the business environment. // 19.08.2021- InfoMarket.
