As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) took part in a seminar on the implementation of IPARD programs, organized in Brussels on October 15-16 as part of the European Commission's TAIEX instrument. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Moldova must begin preparations for the use of IPARD funds intended to support rural development and modernization of agriculture, and participation in this seminar is an important step in strengthening the institutional capacity necessary to manage European funding. The seminar program included sessions dedicated to the exchange of experience between beneficiary countries or countries in the process of preparation, with an emphasis on the introduction of best practices. Representatives of the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement (DG NEAR) provided detailed information on recent legislative changes, the difficulties faced by countries implementing IPARD programs, and measures to prevent situations involving fraud risks in the management of IPARD funds. The TAIEX instrument is managed by the European Commission and assists countries joining the European Union by helping to strengthen administrative capacity and compliance with EU standards. // 17.10.2025 — InfoMarket.
