According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the post-investment grants are intended to compensate the costs of purchasing agricultural equipment and machinery, as well as carrying out activities that ensure soil conservation and improvement. Individual agricultural producers registered in accordance with the legislation, who have made acceptable investments in the agricultural sector, can apply for funding, providing evidence of co-financing from their own sources. Grants will be up to 30% of the value of eligible investments with a maximum amount of up to $10 thousand per beneficiary. They will be provided through the Agency for Intervention and Intervention and Payments in Agriculture. Each beneficiary will only be able to receive 1 post-investment grant. Funds will be provided for the purchase of the following equipment: seeders, choppers, sprinklers, No-Till harvesters; strip-till harvesters (Strip-Till technology); irrigation equipment and systems.
