Since the beginning of the year, AIPA has received more than 10.8 thousand applications for post-investment subsidies, the requested amount exceeds 1.7 billion lei.
According to preliminary data from the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture, 4,917 agricultural producers have applied. They requested subsidies for 1 billion 785.9 million lei, which is 32% more than requested in 2021. The largest amount of subsidies was requested for investments in the development of post-harvest and processing infrastructure - 810 applications for 446.8 million lei. This is followed by applications for investments in the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment - 406 million lei (2976 applications), lending to agricultural producers - 250.3 million lei (4205 applications), investments in the creation / modernization of perennial plantations - 193.9 million lei (923 applications) and livestock - 219.4 million lei (484 applications). It is noted that most of the applications for financial support were submitted by agricultural producers from Briceni district (542 applications for 90.5 million lei), Orhei district (525 applications for 77.3 million lei), Cahul district (521 applications for 80 .6 million lei). It is worth noting that in 2022 the size of the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas is 1 billion 750 million lei, which are distributed for the allocation of post-investment subsidies, advance subsidies, direct payments for livestock and financial support (diesel fuel compensation). To date, 1 billion 368 million lei have been used from the fund (78% of the fund for this year).
