Moldova is holding a competition to select 40 companies to participate in an industrial energy audit program for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises

The "Strong Enterprises and Communities for Moldova" project, implemented by GIZ Moldova and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), with co-financing from the European Union and the Swiss Government, has announced a competition for Moldovan micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the industrial sector to receive technical assistance in improving industrial energy efficiency. The project aims to select up to 40 SMEs to conduct energy audits and provide detailed reports with personalized recommendations for energy optimization, developed by a specialized audit firm. These audit reports will enable Moldovan SMEs to qualify for grants from the Swiss Government under the CREȘTEM IMM program, managed by the Organization for Enterprise Development (ODA). The goal of the competition is to identify up to 40 SMEs eligible for a fully funded industrial energy audit. To support beneficiary small and medium-sized enterprises in preparing for the financing of recommended energy efficiency measures; to support Moldova's energy transition by reducing energy consumption and increasing competitiveness in the industrial sector. Applications for the competition are accepted until February 6. // 16.01.2026 — InfoMarket
