ODA announced the resumption of grant applications for grant programs and instruments with a budget of 300 million lei
In particular, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), with the support of the Moldovan government and development partners, announced the resumption of grant applications for non-repayable financial assistance programs and instruments managed by the institution, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. This year, a budget of 300 million lei is allocated for non-repayable financial assistance instruments designed to finance SMEs. Thus, ODA is resuming the acceptance of grant applications for the following programs: Women's Entrepreneurship Support Program; Small Producers Support Program; Digital Innovation and Technology Start-ups Support Program; Development Program for SMEs in Tourism; Non-repayable Financial Support Instrument for SME Development - Creștem IMM (digital transition, green transition, modernization, and energy efficiency); Program to increase the competitiveness of local producers and their integration into production and distribution chains. ODA notes that the funds are provided from the state budget, from European Union funds under the Reform Program, and from development partners - the World Bank Group, the “Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova” project (SBC) – “Improving the energy sustainability of Moldovan SMEs,” implemented by GIZ and ODA, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss government. In this context, ODA encourages entrepreneurs to take advantage of the programs and instruments they manage. In 2025, 810 investment projects worth 346.4 million lei were approved for financing through ODA. This support brought more than 652.83 million lei of planned investments to the national economy. Of the total number of beneficiaries, 534 projects were financed from the state budget, 158 received EU assistance through the “European Union for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” project, and 111 projects were supported through a program financed by the government and the World Bank Group.
