Moldova will rapidly develop its artificial intelligence ecosystem and create the Moldova AI Hub

The Investment Agency announced this, noting that it had joined a broad public-private and academic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate the development of the artificial intelligence ecosystem in Moldova and create the Moldova AI Hub. This agreement establishes a framework for cooperation with the aim of strengthening Moldova's position as a regional center of excellence in artificial intelligence research and innovation; promoting the responsible development of artificial intelligence in accordance with European and international standards; raising the level of digital literacy in the field of artificial intelligence and strengthening the skills base in academia, business, and public administration. As part of this initiative, the institutions that signed the memorandum of understanding confirm their commitment to stimulating digital transformation, attracting investment, and ensuring that technological progress contributes to confident, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth. The agreement brings together key national and international stakeholders, including: the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the Agency for Electronic Governance, Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP), the Investment Agency, the Technical University of Moldova, the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), AmCham Moldova, the Moldovan Association of ICT Companies (ATIC), Orange Moldova, and ACTech. // 29.09.2025 — InfoMarket.
