Over 80% of flights departing from Chisinau Airport in June departed on schedule

According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the on-time arrival rate at the capital's airport was 77.6%. During the month, the airport handled 716,100 passengers, a 15% increase compared to June last year. A total of 4,602 aircraft movements were performed in June, representing a 0.8% increase compared to the same month last year. Antalya remained the most popular destination, with 130,500 passengers, although passenger traffic on this route decreased by 12.6% compared to June last year. Istanbul ranked second with 64,100 passengers (an increase of 12.7%). Sharm el-Sheikh demonstrated the most dynamic growth among popular destinations, with passenger traffic increasing by 48.4% to 25,126. Passenger traffic to Heraklion increased by 22.1% to 23,500 passengers, while to London it decreased by 13.3% to 28,200 passengers.
