Approximately 29 million lei are to be allocated for work on applying road markings on national public roads
The National Roads Administration has announced a corresponding tender. The procurement is divided into three lots and covers 31 sections of national roads with a total length of more than 1.3 thousand km. The total area of the new road markings will be 365.4 thousand square meters. The work will be carried out on the M1, M3, and M5 highways; the R3, R5, R6, R8, R10, R12, R14, R20, R26, R28, R30, and R35, as well as on regional highways G14, G75, G85, G89, G105, G106, and a number of other sections. The project involves applying road markings along the centerline of the roads, including additional lanes on ascents and descents, acceleration and deceleration lanes, markings along the edges of the roadway, and markings in areas where traffic flows are separated, as well as other road navigation elements in accordance with current national standards. For these purposes, 28.95 million lei (excluding VAT) will be allocated from the Road Fund (8.04 million, 11.5 million, and 9.3 million lei for each lot).
