In particular, this is provided for by a draft law approved by parliament in two readings on declaring the public utility of works of national importance for the construction, rehabilitation, modernization and development of certain highways of national importance. It's about the following national roads: M3 Chisinau–Comrat–Giurgiulesti–border with Romania (bypasses in Cimislia and Vulcanesti); R14 R6 – Codrul Nou–Soroca–Unguri-border with Ukraine (section Soroca–Arionesti); R33 Hincesti–Lapusna – M1; R34 Hincesti–Leova–Cahul–Giurgiulesti (section Cantemir–Cahul); M5 Border with Ukraine–Criva–Balti–Chisinau–Tiraspol–border with Ukraine (section Criva–Balti); R7 R14 – Drochia – Costesti – border with Romania and R14.3 access road to the Cosauti-Yampil bridge, including the border crossing point with associated infrastructure. According to the bill, the government will take all necessary measures to expropriate real estate located at the work site, and compensation for expropriation and the costs of cadastral work and real estate valuation will be paid from the Road Fund. It is planned that owners of lands through which roads of national importance will run will be compensated for their cost: 1,360 lei per 0.01 hectares of agricultural land and 4,300 lei per 0.01 hectares of construction area. // 25.07.2024 — InfoMarket.
