Air Moldova has cancelled 20 flights scheduled for March.
The Civil Aviation Authority reported this, noting that the notification of Air Moldova, in particular, refers to the following scheduled flights: Chisinau-Rome (Fiumicino) March 19, Chisinau-Tbilisi March 16, Chisinau-Warsaw March 1, 8, 15, 22, Chisinau-London (Stansted) March 5, Chisinau-Stambul March 12, 23, Chisinau-Bologna - March 5, 19, Chisinau-Dusseldorf - March 12, Chisinau-Dublin - March 2, 9, 12, Chisinau-Frankfurt- March 5, 19, Chisinau-Leipzig - March 7, 14, 21. The Civil Aviation Authority informs passengers, who have purchased tickets for respective flights, about protection of consumer rights, which are available at: https://www.airmoldova.md/passenger-rights-ro/. The reasons for Air Moldova's decision to cancel 20 scheduled flights in March are not stated. However, in November last year the Civil Aviation Authority announced that serious drawbacks of financial nature were identified in Air Moldova's activity, which could affect smooth operation of the airline and security of planned air operations. The operator was required to submit, for approval, a plan to overcome the crisis, to rectify the unsustainable financial situation, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the air operator. // 14.02.2023 – InfoMarket
