More than 530,000 lei will be allocated in the 2025-2026 academic year to pay presidential scholarships to 15 pupils and students of Moldova for outstanding academic results
The list of beneficiaries was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. In particular, 10 students from the country's universities will receive a scholarship of 3,860 lei, and 5 students from colleges and centers of excellence will receive 2,995 lei per month for one academic year. Candidates were selected based on academic performance, as well as participation in scientific, cultural, and extracurricular activities. Proposals were submitted by university senates and college teaching councils. The total financial assistance in the form of scholarships will exceed 530,000 lei. Last year, the amount of the presidential scholarship was increased from 1,845 to 3,690 lei for students and, accordingly, to 2,860 lei for students of vocational schools.
