The Ministry of Finance of Moldova has launched the first training program for startups

In particular, the department has launched the first training program for aspiring entrepreneurs and those planning to start their own business, as part of the initiative to support the business environment. The program is being implemented jointly with the EU-funded project "Moldova is Europe - support for European integration", the State Tax Service, the Customs Service and the Monitorul Fiscal FISC.md publication. The event on the occasion of the launch of the program was opened by the Minister of Finance Victoria Belous, who emphasized the crucial role of training entrepreneurs at the initial stage of their journey. According to her, within the framework of this program, the authorities seek to provide real support to those who have the courage to embark on the path of entrepreneurship or have just started their own business. Clear and practical information provided by tax and customs experts is extremely important from the very beginning of this path in order to avoid mistakes and build trusting relationships with government agencies. "Entrepreneurship is associated with risks, but also with opportunities. Therefore, I encourage you to have courage and follow your dream. It may seem difficult at first, but you have a chance to demonstrate that Moldova can become a real country of business success. Be open in cooperation with government agencies - they are your partners and are here today to provide you with the necessary support," the Minister of Finance said. The first session of the training program will be held from July 15 to 17 at the Ministry of Finance and is intended for residents of the central region and Chisinau municipality. The main topics covered in the program are: tax and accounting obligations of entrepreneurs; document preparation and accounting; access to electronic tax services; import and export issues; other topics related to doing business. In August and September, the program will be expanded with similar sessions in the northern and southern regions of the country.// 15.07.2025 – InfoMarket.
