In Moldova, the procedure for registration and deregistration of day laborers will be changed.

In Moldova, the procedure for registration and deregistration of day laborers will be changed.

In particular, day laborers will not be deregistered by the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) if they perform unskilled work of an episodic nature. The corresponding decision was made by the government, amending its previous resolution, which corrects the procedure for registering as unemployed and removing the unemployed from the register. It is planned that in this context, the National Employment Agency will automatically confirm the conduct of episodic activities as a day laborer through an interconnection with the information system of the National Social Insurance House. In the absence of information in the relevant system, the day laborer will request confirmation from the recipient of the services and provide it to the territorial employment unit within 3 working days. Day laborers who fail to submit proof and are de-registered on the grounds that they have not been to the area for more than 60 days will be able to reapply for unemployment status. At the same time, in order to maintain the status of unemployed, day laborers will comply with a number of conditions that are valid for other unemployed people: to report monthly to the territorial unit where they are registered in order to receive support in finding a job; participate in interviews with employers organized by the territorial subdivision or on their own initiative; participate in employment events; agree to work offered by the territorial subdivision; inform the territorial subdivision about changes in the conditions for granting the status of unemployed. // 16.11.2022 – InfoMarket
