Young people who have reached the age of 18 will receive a "cultural voucher" from the state - a digital ticket for goods and services of the country's cultural institutions.

This is stipulated by the Regulations on the National Program "Cultural Voucher" approved by the government. The document establishes general rules and procedures for the implementation of the program, including the principles for issuing and using a voucher, criteria for selecting suppliers of cultural products and services, and a mechanism for interaction between all parties involved in the program. The nominal value of the voucher for 2022 was approved in the amount of 1 thousand lei. This amount will be reviewed depending on the economic conditions in the country and the possibilities of the state budget. As Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan specified, the implementation of the program will begin in a week. Funds for the payment of a "cultural voucher" for all beneficiaries will be planned by the Ministry of Culture - they will be distributed through MPay to cultural service providers. The list of providers of such services will be approved by the Ministry of Culture. Each citizen who has reached the age of majority will be able to use the voucher for 1 calendar year by visiting the supplier's website, where in a special application developed by the Public Services Agency, it will be necessary to authenticate through MPass using an electronic signature and use their cultural voucher. It is envisaged that the voucher will be personalized, and a ticket for a cultural event purchased with a cultural voucher cannot be transferred to third parties. The Cultural Voucher Program is aimed at facilitating and improving the integration of young people into the cultural life of the country, promoting and developing cultural values, supporting cultural institutions and increasing competition between them by diversifying products and services. // 09.11.2022 — InfoMarket
