According to the National Social Insurance Fund, more than 678.7 thousand people receive pensions. More than 528.4 thousand people receive old-age pensions, the average amount of which per person was 3162 lei. The average disability pension amounted to 2103 lei (more than 104.1 thousand beneficiaries); for the loss of a breadwinner - 2403 lei (over 11 thousand people); for length of service - 1446 lei (26 people); pensions for certain categories of civil aviation workers - 12,292 lei (471 people); participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - 4927 lei (1552 people); conscripts and members of their families - 2172 lei (685 people); certain categories of cultural workers - 2136 lei (33 people); early retirement pension - 3415 lei (1279 people); overtime pension – 6080 lei (3915 people); other categories of pensioners - 6516 lei (more than 27 thousand people).
