The average projected salary in Moldova may increase in 2022 to 9,900 lei.

This is provided by the draft government decree prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection on the approval of the average monthly wage in the economy, projected for 2022. As a reminder, the average salary forecasted for 2021 was approved at 8,716 lei, in 2020 it amounted to 7,953 lei, in 2019 - 6,975 lei, in 2018 - 6150 lei. The size of the average projected salary in Moldova for the next year is established for the purpose of calculating social benefits, the amount of contributions to the compulsory social insurance fund, calculating contributions withheld from material assistance provided by trade unions and patronages from amounts that exceed the projected level of salaries.
