According to the Ministry of Health, 28% of Moldova’s population received one dose of the vaccine. The highest vaccination rate was registered in Chisinau municipality (40%), Soroca (30%), Dubasari (28%), and the lowest was recorded in ATU Gagauzia (16%), Leova and Singerei (18%). Over the past week, 22.9 thousand people were vaccinated, which is 12% more than in the previous week. To date, 1 million 996.1 thousand doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been received in Moldova, it can be obtained free of charge at any medical institution in the country. According to official data, from 15 to 21 November, 5.4 thousand new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Moldova, 45% of them in the Transnistrian region. Thus, the incidence was 145 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, which is 21% less than in the previous week. At the same time, the number of cases of infection among children increased by almost 3% (from 606 diseases at 45 weeks to 625 cases at 46 weeks) and by more than 37% among pregnant women (from 16 to 22 cases). During the reporting week, 339 people died from coronavirus - 9.1 deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants, which is 14% less than the corresponding figure for the previous week, but 32% more than last month.
