In Moldova, shopping centers will be able to work again on weekends.
This decision was made by the National Emergency Commission of Public Health. In particular, activity is allowed for shopping centers and specialized shopping centers on Saturday and Sunday, with the exception of recreation and entertainment areas located there. The Commission also approved new guidelines on measures to prevent COVID-19 infection in shopping malls. Administrators must provide thermometry at the entrance to the mall and the ability to treat hands with an alcohol-based disinfectant solution, all visitors must wear masks, with the exception of children under 5 years of age. A limited number of people will be allowed access to the building of the shopping center, at the rate of 1 visitor per 4 sq. m of retail space. In all zones of the shopping center, the administration must provide marking and informing visitors about the need to maintain a social distance (1.5 m), all necessary protective equipment must be sold on the territory of the shopping center, etc. Landlords and administrators of the shopping center must ensure the disinfection of the spaces and work surfaces under their control, with a frequency of at least once every 2-3 hours, monitor the health of workers, etc. At the same time, according to the decision of the National Commission, the territorial emergency commissions, in the event of the establishment of a "red" code for the danger of the spread of COVID-19 in a certain territory, should introduce restrictive measures: a ban on population movement and isolation at home; a ban on holding mass gatherings (cultural, scientific, sports, entertainment events; providing only vital services; limiting non-urgent travel to public places (banks, post office, etc.); providing only urgent medical services; transferring to distance learning.// 05.03.2021 — InfoMarket.
