Moldova introduces special activity regime from March 1 to March 15.
According to the decision of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission, for 2 weeks, all educational institutions of Moldova, with the exception of kindergartens, will operate remotely. There will also be no school Olympiads with the physical presence of persons during this period. At the same time, from March 1 to March 15, theatrical and concert activities with the presence of spectators in theater and concert institutions and houses of culture are prohibited. Public and private institutions are recommended to establish a special work schedule, with the presence at the workplace only of personnel strictly necessary to ensure the functionality of the institution and personnel whose activities require mandatory attendance at work. For employees whose activities do not require a mandatory presence at the workplace, conditions for remote work must be provided. State institutions will work, as before, in a special mode from 7:30 to 16:00, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 12:30. Current restrictions for catering establishments, shopping centers, markets, etc. remain unchanged. The Commission also recommended limiting the public transport units on Saturdays and Sundays within the Chisinau municipality. However, the capital's Emergency Situations Commission decided not to change the public transport schedule, while providing for more careful observance of sanitary and epidemiological rules. // 01.03.2021 - InfoMarket.
