At the same time, 35.5% of the deceased suffered from diabetes mellitus, 29.8% were obese, 22.5% had various neurological diseases, and 21.2% had kidney diseases. The average age of people who died from complications from the virus was 67, and about 51.4% of them were men. The highest mortality rate is among people over 90 years old (17.9%), followed by the age group 80-89 years old (14.9%), 70-79 years old - 8.2%, 60-69 years old - 3.8% , 50-59 - 1.5%, less than 1% of people who have had the virus die before the age of 50. In general, more than 60% of deaths occur in patients over, which is why this age group (60+, as well as persons with concomitant diseases) is included in the priority for immunization against COVID-19. Recall that elderly people are included in the II stage of vaccination against coronavirus. At the first stage, it is planned to vaccinate health workers, regardless of form of ownership.
