According to the Chisinau mayor's office, as of January 11, 62,979 cases of coronavirus infection were officially confirmed in the municipality, in 48,917 cases, patients with COVID-19 successfully completed treatment, and 1,027 people died from complications caused by the virus. In municipal hospitals, 1,172 beds are available for patients with COVID-9, as well as 200 distribution places for citizens with suspected virus. Of these, 935 beds are intended for adult patients, 167 - for children, 40 - for pregnant women and 30 - for palliative care.
