
In Chisinau, from December 22, 2020 to January 15, 2021, corporate events on the occasion of the New Year holidays are prohibited.
The corresponding decision was made by the Extraordinary Commission for Public Health of Chisinau municipality. According to the document, from December 22, 2020 to January 15, 2021, a ban is established on holding festive or corporate events and other ceremonies on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year holidays. The restriction is valid for all catering establishments, as well as for institutions, regardless of the legal status of the enterprise (public and private). All artistic and entertainment events, dances and competitions and other types of entertainment on the occasion of winter holidays are prohibited. The commission drew attention to the fact that the capital maintains an emergency situation in health care, wearing masks in open and closed rooms is mandatory, the mask must cover the mouth and nose. To avoid crowds, the opening hours of the Chisinau Central Market have been changed: on Mondays, December 28 and January 4, the market will work as usual, and January 2 and 8 will be declared sanitary days.
