
Chisinau tightens the mask regime: now masks must be worn in all open and closed areas.
The public health emergency commission of Chisinau municipality adopted this decision. Private and municipal organizations are advised to change their work hours to relieve public transport in the morning: for example, the working day can start at 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00. Interdisciplinary commissions under the prefectures will conduct surprise inspections in markets, shops, shopping centers, restaurants, gyms and the economic agents will also be checked; they must check the temperature of visitors and employees, verify if everyone is wearing masks and keeps the social distance, as well as check if disinfectants are at hand. This week, there will also be held consultations with economic agents and public health experts on the introduction of restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of the virus. There will also be consultations with representatives of HoReCa, catering and trade institutions regarding the rationality of the decisions adopted.
