The call for applications for the Moldova Eco Energetică 2025 public sector innovation project competition has been extended until November 15
This was announced by the National Center for Sustainable Energy. Moldova Eco Energetică is a national initiative aimed at identifying and recognizing the most effective and innovative energy efficiency and renewable energy projects implemented in the public sector. This year, projects implemented by state institutions and local authorities since January 1, 2023, that have not won previous competitions, are eligible to participate in the competition. Projects can be submitted in one of the following nominations: Best energy efficiency project in public buildings; Best renewable electricity production project in public buildings; Best renewable thermal energy production project in public buildings; Best energy efficiency project in street lighting; Special award: Best energy efficiency and/or Renewable energy project implemented by a woman. The application deadline is November 15. The winners will be announced at the Moldova Eco Energetică 2025 Competition Gala on December 5. The competition will recognize projects that contribute to the sustainable development of communities. Twenty government institutions participated in the previous competition, demonstrating the public sector's commitment to sustainable and innovative solutions. This year, the competition aims to identify projects that have a positive impact on communities and promote responsible energy consumption. Institutions interested in participating must complete the registration form and send it, electronically signed, to contests@cned.gov.md.
