In Balti, the heat energy tariff for consumers of the local thermal power plant-Nord (CET-Nord) may increase by 26.3% - up to 4,499 lei per Gcal.

The Balti company addressed the National Agency for Energy Regulation with a corresponding request to revise the heat tariff. Currently, the heat energy tariff for TPP-Nord consumers is 3,561 lei per Gcal, and the company proposes to increase it by 938 lei (+26.3%) - up to 4,499 lei per Gcal. CHPP-Nord notes that on November 8 it submitted a request to adjust the price for produced electricity and the tariff for supplied heat energy, based on the current methodological provisions, the volume of actual supplies for the current year and the supply forecast. The main factors that led to the filing of a request to change the tariff are: changes in the provisions of the Tariff Methodology; change in the amount of energy supplied; update parameter values applied to regulated costs; the adjusting component of regulated income for previous years; inclusion of an adjusting component of regulated income for the current year. The final decision on regulated prices and tariffs is made exclusively by the NAER Administrative Council. // 10.11.2023 — InfoMarket.
