Household consumers from horticultural associations will be able to receive compensation for energy resources.
The government at a meeting on Wednesday expanded the categories of cold season compensation beneficiaries to include consumers from horticultural associations and consumers whose construction companies act as intermediaries in relations with energy suppliers. Changes have also been made regarding the assignment of categories of energy vulnerability and the procedure for establishing and paying compensations for paying electricity bills, the mechanism for correcting data in the application submitted on the compensatii.gov.md platform has been adjusted. To do this, applicants or registrars will send a reasoned request to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection or to the compensatii.gov.md platform, and after its approval, within five days, they will be able to make changes to the information system. The declared income will not include a one-time allowance for the birth of a child, a funeral allowance, amounts for the elimination of the consequences of natural disasters and emergencies, allowances for care, support and supervision, as well as child support. And households for which annual data are included in government information systems will represent 1/12 of the total income for the previous year. Another change stipulates that places of consumption that are not registered in the information system before the deadline (November 24) will be automatically categorized as medium energy vulnerability, and from December 2022 they will automatically be assigned a low EV category and provided with a minimum amount of compensation. //23.11.2022 — InfoMarket.
