
Natural gas tariffs for household consumers of Moldova increased by an average of 120.88% in the first half of 2022, and by 301.29% in the last 12 months (June 2022 to June 2021).
This follows from the inflation data for January-June of this year, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics. As noted, at the same time, electricity tariffs in June 2022, compared to December 2021, increased by 52.53%, as well as compared to June 2021. At the same time, tariffs for district heating in June 2022, compared to December 2021, increased by 54.11%, and compared to June last year - by 92.03%. Overall, utility rates in June 2022, compared to December 2021, increased by 54.69%, and compared to June 2021, by 87.82%.
