
Moldova: 782.34 million liters of petroleum products were sold in the retail trade in 2021, which is 13.1% more than a year earlier.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported that, at the same time, retail prices for basic oil products and liquefied gas in 2021 were on average 23.6% higher than in the previous year. In particular, in 2021, gas stations of Moldova sold 4 million 930.8 thousand liters of A98 gasoline (-2.1% compared to 2020) at an average price of 20.58 lei per liter (+23.2 %); 217 million 665.8 thousand liters of A95 gasoline (+12.9%) at an average price of 19.51 lei per liter (+22.7%); 3 million 459.7 thousand liters of A92 gasoline (-7.4%) at an average price of 19.22 lei per liter (+22.4%); 452 million 823.9 thousand liters of diesel fuel (+17.6%) at an average price of 16.19 lei per liter (+21.8%), as well as 103 million 460.2 thousand liters of liquefied gas (-1.8%) at an average price of 11.64 lei per liter (+28%). According to ANRE, the 13.1% growth in the volume of retail trade in petroleum products last year compared to the previous year indicates a gradual recovery of the sector from the recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. // 24.05.2022- InfoMarket.
