Moldovagaz shareholders approved amendments to the contract with Gazprom on the terms of gas supplies to Moldova in 2007-2021.

Moldovagaz press service reported this, noting that, in particular, at the extraordinary general meeting of Moldovagaz shareholders held on September 30, the issue of approving transactions with a conflict of interest was considered, namely two amendments to the contract between Moldovagaz and Gazprom on the terms of natural gas supply to Moldova in 2007-2021. The first addition provides for the clarification of the formula for calculating the purchase price of natural gas in the II and III quarters of 2021 in order to exclude double counting of the actual calorific value of gas. The second addition provides for the adjustment of the contractual volumes of natural gas supplies in 2021 towards their increase. This is due to the excess of the contracted volumes of supplies in February-April of this year against the backdrop of the established cold weather in the specified period, as well as the lack of natural gas resources for September.
