
Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and Foreign Minister Mihai Popşoi will pay a working visit to the United States from December 2 to 9
They will meet with American senators and congressmen who are friends of Moldova, with the administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power, and North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine F. Marshall. Mihai Popşoi will also hold meetings with officials from the US State Department. The program of their visit also includes discussions with experts from the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the International Republican Institute. The Parliamentary Speaker and the Foreign Minister will also meet representatives of the Diaspora, talk to Moldovan citizens who live, work or study in the US, representatives of the Moldovan business community, as well as visit a Romanian language school in Chicago.
